Maranda Adds West Coast Dealers
Lake Forest, CA (PRWEB) September 26, 2013 -- Continuing its commitment to the work truck industry, Maranda Management today announced that two new dealers have joined its distributor network – Phenix Truck Bodies & Equipment in California and Al-Van Equip in Washington. Both will provide fleet managers and technicians an enhanced level of service, support and value.
“Our customers in Western Washington and Southern California will be impressed with their new dealers,” said Chris Mattingly, Western Region Director of Maranda Management. “With more than 45 years of combined service for Maranda customers, these teams are perfectly positioned to help fleet managers with their truck needs. The addition of these exceptional dealers provides one-stop facilities that can offer installation and upfitting on Maranda's fiberglass capsules and service bodies. Moreover, both are able to provide outstanding after-sale service.”
Phenix Truck Bodies and Equipment will support Maranda customers in Southern California. Since 1978, the company has manufactured specialty custom work trucks for municipalities, utilities, fire departments and the US government. In 2012, Phenix expanded on its 100,000-square-foot operation on over 10 acres in Pomona, CA with the addition of a 45,000-square-foot building focused on truck equipment and accessories like Maranda's products.
"We at Phenix pride ourselves in creating custom solutions that meet the needs of our long-term customers," said Todd Davis, Director of Sales & Marketing at Phenix Truck Bodies. "Maranda composite truck bodies are an extension of that, where we can provide a value-added solution that meets the needs of the individual customer. We look forward to supporting Maranda's existing customers, as well as working to expand the customer base in Southern California."
Al-Van Equip, based in Seattle, was started in 2004 with a focus on van interior installation. Today, the family-owned company installs a variety of truck equipment and accessories. Al-Van will soon be undergoing a major expansion as it looks to provide turn-key solutions for its fleet and municipal customers with everything from interior shelving to service body installations.
"Our business has always been about providing lightweight and ergonomic solutions for our customers," said Kenneth Gracey of Al-Van Equip. "Maranda products fit right in with this, as we can design solutions around Maranda's work truck bodies that virtually eliminate the need for technicians to bend, crawl, lift or reach. And based upon the feedback I have received so far from my customers, Seattle seems like an ideal market for Maranda's composite truck bodies, as they are lightweight and corrosion-free."
Both Phenix Truck Bodies and Al-Van Equip will be stocking dealers of Maranda Composite Workshop Capsules and Maranda Composite Service Bodies. More information is available at http://www.MarandaCorp.com.
