McDonald County, Mo., Begins E-recording with Simplifile
McDonald County, Mo. (PRWEB) August 09, 2014 -- The McDonald County recorder’s office in Missouri is now accepting electronic documents submitted through Simplifile, the nation’s largest e-recording service provider.
Using Simplifile’s web-based service, customers such as title companies, banks, and attorneys can electronically prepare or scan, upload, and submit documents to the recorder’s office for faster recording.
Having this option eliminates the need for customers to rely on the mail or travel to the courthouse to record their documents.
“More and more counties are adopting electronic recording every day,” said Paul Clifford, president of Simplifile. “It’s a user-friendly service that helps both the county and their document submitters save time and money while maintaining the security of documents and payments.”
Fewer payment errors, fewer rejected documents, and less overall paper waste are also some of the benefits that come with e-recording.
McDonald County joins 50 other Missouri counties that have made Simplifile’s e-recording service available to customers. Nationwide, more than 1,100 counties and recording jurisdictions e-record with Simplifile.
High-speed Internet access, a PC, and a scanner are the minimum requirements for customers to begin e-recording with Simplifile.
