Meadow Williams on Gerald Kessler’s Legacy
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) April 26, 2017 -- Meadow Williams and Gerald Kessler were a team, working together to make the world a better, healthier place. Gerald was the founder of Nature’s Plus®, a leading manufacturer of natural vitamins and nutritional supplements. Gerald took the company from a tiny start-up to a nutritional supplement empire, developing more than 1000 Nature’s Plus products over the 40 years of his tenure. And throughout those 40 years, he touched the hearts and lives of so many of his employees.
Meadow says of her husband Gerald, “He was a rock. A big man with an even bigger heart. He truly cared about people, and he was dedicated to his family – his immediate family and his work family.”
A pioneer in the natural supplements industry, Gerald Kessler was a chief architect of the 1994 Dietary Supplement and Health Education Act (DSHEA), which helped secure people’s rights to take dietary supplements by specifying regulations surrounding the manufacture and sale of dietary supplements, ultimately making it easier for safe supplements to be sold in the US.
“He was an activist in the best sense of the word. He cared about people, and he worked to make their lives better. He believed firmly in what he did, and he took his job of producing safe and effective supplements and products very seriously. He definitely left behind a legacy – and some big shoes to fill,” Meadow said.
On November 22, 2016, Meadow was present as her late husband’s statue was unveiled at the Nature’s Plus corporate office. Employees and significant others were invited to take part in the statue unveiling ceremony, honoring Gerald. Meadow Williams and Gerald Kessler shared a passion for natural health, and Meadow is happy to be part of the Nature’s Plus family, sharing in Gerald’s legacy.
