Measurabl and Optoro Launch “We Are Measurabl” Credential Pilot
San Diego, Calif. (PRWEB) June 30, 2015 -- Measurabl, the startup for sustainability reporting and data management, has launched its “We Are Measurabl” program with Optoro, a cloud-based technology company delivering sustainable supply chain solutions to retail clients. Measurabl’s newly launched “We Are Measurabl” program allows Optoro and other companies to transparently track and validate their corporate sustainability performance to customers and other stakeholders. Optoro will display the “We Are Measurabl” logo on both its corporate website and BLINQ.com eCommerce site as a testament to the fact that it has passed a rigorous audit of the authenticity of its sustainability statements and data.
One of the Optoro Green Team’s first priorities is to establish a baseline for the amount of energy consumed each year and to understand how that drives the company’s greenhouse gas emissions. “Measurabl allows us to pinpoint our energy, water and carbon impacts accurately and efficiently. The ‘We Are Measurabl’ mark signifies we’ve done this in a transparent, robust way using best in class accounting methodologies,” explained Adam Vitarello, Optoro’s Co-founder and President.
Measurabl’s software is run by S&P 500 companies as well as smaller organizations seeking to bring rigor and simplicity to their environmental, social and governance accounting. The “We Are Measurabl” mark is available to any Measurabl user who passes an audit as well as compiles their data into one or more of the globally accepted sustainability reporting formats such as CDP or GRESB.
“This new pilot program will allow companies to track and validate sustainability performance as well as communicate that performance to customers,” says Matt Ellis, Measurabl’s Founder and CEO. “Working with an innovative technology start-up like Optoro has been fabulous. They are delivering advanced logistics to deliver tangible environmental benefit - less waste in landfills. Being the measurement and monitoring platform that supports efforts to reduce the environmental impact of their internal operations is very exciting.”
