Medical Guardian’s Geoff Gross Named to Direct Marketing News’ 40 Under 40 List
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) February 04, 2014 -- While many think of Medical Guardian primarily as a medical alert solution company, President and CEO Geoff Gross is also getting recognition as an innovator in digital marketing. Named to Digital Marketing News’ 40 Under 40 List, Gross is leading the way as one of the brightest and most innovative young talents in Philadelphia.
Gross was recognized by Direct Marketing News for building out a comprehensive in-house marketing team of 8 individual experts working towards the shared goal of creating uniquely relevant online experiences for all Medical Guardian customers. Their marketing efforts have proven successful, and the company has enjoyed 318% growth over the last 3 years, bringing in $10.9 million in 2013.
“I’m honored to have been named to Digital Marketing News’ 40 Under 40 List with so many other accomplished individuals,” says Gross. “But I can’t take all the credit. I have an amazing team. Once I was able to figure out that surrounding myself with smart people was the key to success, we were full steam ahead.”
And there’s no slowing down for Gross and his team. They were named to Inc. 5000’s List of Fastest Growing Companies in America and earned a coveted spot on the Philadelphia 100 List in 2013. Medical Guardian is expected to bring in over $20 million in revenue in 2014.
Gross graduated from the University of Maryland in 2002 and moved back to his hometown of Philadelphia, where he started Medical Guardian out of his Center City apartment in 2005. The company is now expanding into over 22,000 sqaure feet of office space at 1818 Market Street and employs close to 90 professionals.
Medical Guardian is a leading provider of Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS) and has helped provide peace of mind to thousands of older Americans and their loved ones. From the beginning, Medical Guardian’s mission has been to provide seniors with access to affordable and reliable senior alert systems. Across the country, people now enjoy a renewed sense of independence, and their loved ones have the peace of mind knowing that help is always just a push of a button away.
