Michael Purcell joins LDM Global as Vice President of Professional Services
Denver, Colorado (PRWEB) April 27, 2016 -- Michael Purcell has been hired as LDM Global’s new vice president of professional services. LDM Global is a leading consultant to mid-tier law firms around the world, focusing on legal discovery management and computer forensics.
Purcell is a 20-year veteran in the eDiscovery industry. In his new role, Purcell will oversee the consulting, forensics, project management and managed services departments for LDM Global. Both a consultant and forensics investigator,
Purcell has exceptional technical and communication skills. He provides technical and strategic consulting for clients and also is well versed in ensuring clients are familiar with eDiscovery best practices, efficient use of technology and advanced data minimization techniques.
“I like to solve problems with clients. I like impacting how clients respond to challenges and also helping them to weigh the value of a case to analyze whether it’s worth a full investigation or if a smaller solution could meet their objectives; everything is always a case-by-case basis,” Purcell said. “The nuances of working with multiple cases each year that are all different keep me compelled to always be adding value to clients’ cases.”
One of the main reasons Purcell was interested in joining the LDM Global team was because of its focus on adding value, whether through consulting, forensics, managed services or creative solutions.
“LDM Global’s boutique approach to eDiscovery really made me want to join the team,” Purcell said. “We offer the industry standards but also other solutions to really cater to the client. But even more important is the vision of the CEO to provide a consultative approach. In this day and age when everything revolves around cost, LDM Global is focused on bringing value to the client and building a reputation around that.”
Prior to joining LDM Global, Purcell held various leadership positions with leading eDiscovery firms. He has a wealth of experience across the EDRM spectrum, covering information governance, data mapping, custodian interviews and collection planning, ECA, processing, and document review solutions. Purcell is based out of San Francisco.
