Mid-Western, LLC Brings Back the Popular MWRB83 Stoper Drill
St. Louis, Missouri (PRWEB) July 29, 2013 -- Mid-Western, LLC has brought back the popular MWRB83 Stoper Drill. Since the acquisition of Mid-Western Machinery Company, Inc. back in early 2011, Mid-Western, LLC has seen an increase in customer inquiries for the MWRB83 Stoper Drill that was taken out of production years back. Many of these requests are coming from customers in South America, Mexico, and Canada, but there is also a good demand in the USA as well. Many miners do not like to use a Jackleg Drill in a vertical drilling operation. The Stoper drill is much easier to use and safer for the miner since the handle controls allow operation to the side of the machine, away from falling debris.
As Mid-Western continues to expand in international markets, the Stoper drill again became a viable option. Ryan Bristow, sales manager for Mid-Western, LLC, said, “The MWS83 Jackleg drill and Sinker drill lines have been very successful over the past three years so it just made sense for us to bring back the Stoper drill as well. It complements our current line and a majority of the parts used in the Jacklegs and Sinkers can be used in the Stopers.” As gold prices have fallen over the past few months, companies are looking at other ways to decrease their cost per foot when drilling. Larger drilling equipment is very high priced and often out of budget for many companies. Smaller, hand-held equipment like Stoper Drills and Jackleg Drills offer great production at a fraction of the cost of larger equipment.
Mid-Western has sent several units out for testing with positive results. Mid-Western, LLC is now back in full production with the MWRB83 Stoper Drill and is taking orders. For more information on the any of the drills the Mid-Western offers, please send an email to info(at)mwdrill(dot)com.
