Modumetal Names John Beaver to Role of Chief Financial Officer
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) April 04, 2014 -- Modumetal (http://www.modumetal.com) the world’s leading innovator and manufacturer of nanolaminated metal alloys has announced the appointment of John Beaver to the position of Chief Financial Officer.
Beaver joins Modumetal after serving as Chief Financial Officer of Silicor Materials and Sterling Chemicals, where he managed operations generating $100-$500 million in annual revenue. John’s financial leadership in chemical processing and metals manufacturing for private equity-backed and publicly traded companies contributed heavily to Modumetal’s decision to bring him on board as the company prepares for rapid growth in sales of its energy-sector products and services.
“Modumetal is ushering in a new age in metals with our unique class of nano-layered metal alloys and patented manufacturing technology,” said Christina Lomasney, president and CEO of Modumetal. “John brings the right experience in the financing and financial operations of large-scale, innovative manufacturing companies, and an important capability to our team as we take on an aggressive manufacturing scale-up strategy.”
Beaver’s previous experience has spanned traditional brick and mortar manufacturing and innovative manufacturing technology companies. He previously held senior financial positions at a number of other public companies including Pioneer, Borden Chemicals and Plastics and Monsanto.
“Modumetal has the potential not only to introduce a revolutionary nanolaminated alloy to the market, but also to do it in a way that will turn the economics and logistics of metals manufacturing on its head,” Beaver said. “I’m excited to be a part of this historic opportunity and to work with Christina and the leadership team of Modumetal to realize the full potential of this opportunity for our stakeholders.”
