Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 28, 2013 -- Moo & Oink will participate in the 24th annual “African Festival of the Arts” Friday through Monday, Aug. 30 – Sept. 2, at Washington Park, 5531 S. Martin Luther King Dr., Chicago.

The African Festival of the Arts is the flagship program of Africa International House USA, Inc. (AIH). This not-for-profit organization was founded 20 years ago to bridge the divide between the peoples of the African Diaspora in Chicago with its unique brand of cultural programming. The organization serves as a center that educates people about the individual works and collective contributions of African cultures.
“Moo & Oink has long been a staple in the African American community in Chicago, and for the first time in its 50 year history, Moo & Oink is minority owned,” said Robert M. Beavers Jr., chairman and CEO of Best Chicago Meat Company, LLC. “We are excited to take part in such an enriching display of African American culture.”
