Motorcycle Safety Promotion Kit Invented by InventHelp Client (FRO-426)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 08, 2016 -- Although motorcycles only account for approximately 3 percent of all registered drivers in the United States, they represent 14 percent of all traffic related fatalities. This shocking statistic is due in part to the size of a motorcycles in relation to other vehicles, making them harder to see for other motorists and truck drivers. Because of this, motorcyclists often find themselves feeling overlooked or at risk.
An inventor from Bakersfield, Calif., has invented MOTORCYCLE FRIENDLY VEHICLE KIT, which is a means for motorists to communicate to motorcyclists that they are alert and willing to provide added safety if the motorcyclist were to need to pass them. "In the past year, my family and friends have had to bury 4 motorcycle riders due to senseless accidents," said the inventor. These tragic incidents inspired her to create something that would educate motorists about the dangers of riding a motorcycle in the hopes of preventing such accidents in the future.
MOTORCYCLE FRIENDLY VEHICLE KIT would provide motorcycle owners a renewed sense of confidence when on the road. It alerts motorcyclists to which drivers are willing to take special caution to ensure their safety when passing. Additionally, it could be adapted for bicyclists.
