Muddy Buddys Club Gears Up for Annual Jeep Jam
Columbiana, OH (PRWEB) August 15, 2013 -- Leading provider of aftermarket Jeep parts and accessories 4WD-sponsored Muddy Buddys Jeep Wrangler Club is holding its annual Jeep Jam in Wilmington, Ohio. This weekend August 16-18, Jeepers will gather for trail runs, obstacle courses, family activities, live entertainment, and vendors. 400 vehicles showed up for last year’s event and the forecast is for 600 Jeeps to register and attend the upcoming Jeep Jam.
“Our club is all about family fun and we have a great mix of rigs from bone stock to ready to rock,” says Rob Eldridge, Muddy Buddys club president and co-founder. The annual Jeep Jam is open to drivers of all skill levels and features extreme crawlers, weekend warriors, and daily drivers. “We’ve added a show and shine with live music to kick off the weekend that will happen from this Friday from 6 p.m. till 11 p.m. in downtown Wilmington.”
The Muddy Buddys club began in Dayton, Ohio in 2003 and presents around 40 events each year including meetings, shows, meet and greets, and monthly trail rides. Ohio, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, Tennessee, and Michigan are states where events happen. “Our Jeep Jam event echoes our club standards and emphasizes family activities and off-roading,” says Eldridge.
The Muddy Buddys Jeep Wrangler Club is organized as a LLC as well as a non-profit and the Jeep Jam event basically pays for itself. “Throughout the year, we donate to various charities including Toys for Tots, Relay for Life and smaller youth and children’s groups and charities,” says Eldridge. Funds raised from Jeep Jam help the club present other events throughout the year.
