NAPW Inducts Debra L. Remington, Director of Alumni and Community Relations at Lake Erie College, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle
Garden City, NY (PRWEB) August 11, 2015 -- The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honors Debra L. Remington as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle. She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in event planning. NAPW is the nation's leading networking organization exclusively for professional women, boasting more than 700,000 members and over 200 operating Local Chapters.

Debra L. Remington, holds the title of Director of Alumni and Community Relations, Event Planning at Lake Erie College. Prior to her present position at the college, she was Director of Communications, Public Relations at Ohio’s Painesville City Local for 14 years.Throughout her 30-year career, Ms. Remington has been at the forefront of event catering, and the planning and implementation of arts-related programs and events for educational institutions. She is also an expert in in public relations, marketing, program development and fundraising.
As an active resident who has always been concerned about her community’s welfare, Ms. Remington continues to be involved with numerous organizations, including, CASE, United Way Woman’s Leadership Council, Arts East, Painesville Rotary, Painesville Art in the Park, Painesville Downtown Organization (Main Street Program) and Painesville Area Chamber of Commerce. She was Past President of the League of Woman Voters. Ms. Remington’s further contribution to her community was when she hosted the US Presidential Campaign Rally in 2012.
