Narconon Louisiana Announces New Certifications For Staff
Denham Springs, LA (PRWEB) September 01, 2014 -- As well as having completed the Non Violent Crisis Intervention Instructor training, Derek is currently pursuing counselor certification in Louisiana.
"I have really been able to advance through the CPI training program as well as the Counselor training program." Derek states "and I have grown both personally and professionally. I am not only dedicated to helping addicts permanently recover, I am competently able to do so. As a Non Violent Crisis Intervention Instructor, I am able to train others so they will better service those struggling in the battle against addiction."
CPI's website states that their Non-Violent Crisis Intervention program is considered the worldwide standard for crisis prevention and intervention training. With a core philosophy of providing for the Care, Welfare, Safety, and Security of everyone involved in a crisis situation, the program's proven strategies give human service providers and educators the skills to safely and effectively respond to anxious, hostile, or violent behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care.
Derek added, "Over six years ago, the Narconon New Life Program saved my life after a eight year heroin addiction which had consumed me. It just made sense to give back to others using the same program that helped me."
