National Association of Professional Women Inducts Artie Thayer, Co-Founder / CEO, Ice Moon Publications, Into its VIP Professional Woman of the Year Circle

She is recognized with this prestigious distinction for leadership in publishing. After obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Northwestern State University, Artie Thayer spent much of her early career working as a Newspaper Reporter and Editor. Driven by her interests in writing, editing, publishing and entrepreneurship, Ms. Thayer yearned to be a successful leader in her field. She co-founded Ice Moon Productions, a publishing company, where she now holds the position of CEO.
Ms. Thayer’s creative mind combined with her skilled and careful writing has been an asset in the publishing industry. She draws inspiration from real-life events as well as her fictitious creations. Her book, Ice Moon of Jupiter, developed into a successful trilogy that provides her take on what might have “really” happened to two young sisters and the Russian sorcerer Dedt Moroz, otherwise known as Father Frost.
Ms. Thayer is currently involved in many upcoming productions including Ice Moon of Jupiter: Prince of Winter. Outside of her publishing business, she is also deeply passionate about charitable organizations and values being involved with veterans’ groups and PBS.
