National Cyber League Looking for Sponsors for the 2015 Fall Season
Largo, MD (PRWEB) October 01, 2015 -- With a high demand for cybersecurity professionals, the National Cyber League (NCL) is dedicated to educating the next generation of professionals. But they can’t do it alone. For the 2015 fall season, NCL needs financial support from organizations looking to back an already proven model: ongoing virtual training grounds for participants to develop and validate cybersecurity skills using content aligned with individual and team games - which is scalable across many industry certifications, curricula, job roles, and verticals.
Sponsorship will allow the NCL to maintain the high quality associated with its content, skills-based assessments, and competitions, as well as help defray participant’s costs. In addition, sponsoring the NCL provides a meaningful way to engage with the design, execution and evaluation of league play. Sponsorship also offers access to NCL Scouting Reports, which are individualized player performance metrics across a range of competencies and exercises. Lastly, interested parties can use the NCL infrastructure for data collection, mentor individuals or teams during preparation or after competitions, and help develop the competition scenario, among other benefits.
“This platform is one of very few existing resources that allow students to get the necessary hands-on experience required in the field. Facebook places such a high importance on such resources that we’ve dedicated our own engineering team to assist the NCL in providing this competition.” Jennifer Henley, Director of Information Security Operations, Facebook.
