New book by Chris Kalwa dedicated to recreational golfers
TORONTO (PRWEB) June 16, 2015 -- Author Chris Kalwa understands that not all golfers will become part of the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) Tour. He wanted to put together a book meant for all the recreational “Joe and Jane Golfers” out there. His new book, “The Legend of Joe Golfer: A Salute to the Regular Player” (published by AuthorHouse), offers encouragement, tips, anecdotes and suggestions for regular players.
“Ultimately, this story will encourage all Joe and Jane Golfers to become better-performing, happier and more satisfied players – and inspire you to carve out your own legendary ‘Golf Gone Wild’ stories that can be proudly cherished and shared by all,” Kalwa, a golf instructor and former physical education teacher, says.
Kalwa hopes his tips and suggestions, based off his personal experience of more than a decade, will help players advance quickly to their desired skill level and playing ability. Topics covered in the book include proper game preparation, effective rescue shots, physical-fitness training and benefits for golf, and reflection over personal growth as a golfer.
Kalwa says his book is timely given the return of golf to the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. It will be the first time golf has been contested at the Olympics since 1904. Kalwa believes his book will be a great resource for a new generation of Joe and Jane Golfers inspired by the international variety of pro competition during the Olympic Games.
