Houston, Texas (PRWEB) March 29, 2014 -- The Little Gym is expanding in Houston with a new gym opening in the The Heights. With a mission to build confidence in local children through dance and gymnastics classes, The Little Gym of Houston Heights will open its doors on April 1. The new facility will be located at 1501W 18th St.
The Little Gym's core curriculum focuses on developing motor skills through noncompetitive gymnastics and dance programs. Owner Dawn Koenig, who operates three other franchises in Spring, The Woodlands and Bellaire, says moving into a developing neighborhood like The Heights is exciting for her and her staff.
“We’re excited to bring The Little Gym to The Heights,” Koenig said. “The area is flourishing and we’re looking forward to meeting and working with the families that live here. We’re confident that our programs will be a great fit for the children.”
The Little Gym of Houston Heights will provide a curriculum designed for children from four months to 12 years and includes gymnastics, dance, karate and sports classes. Each class is designed to help ongoing skill development in children while creating a fun and safe learning environment.
Koenig and her staff are holding an Open House Saturday, April 12 from 3-5 p.m. so members of the local community can learn more about the gym and its programs.
“The Open House is a great time for families to come get first-hand experience at The Little Gym. They’ll have the opportunity to meet with our instructors and learn about the classes and activities we provide,” Koenig said.
