New memoir by Carine Colas Diallo touches hearts, minds of readers
MIRAMAR, Fla. (PRWEB) January 07, 2015 -- As a young woman, author Carine Colas Diallo chose to relinquish herself to God. Inside, she could hear an inner voice – God’s voice – speaking to her and offering advice in times of need and trouble.
Diallo’s new memoir, “No Fear: A Personal Memoir of My Journey with God” (published by WestBow Press), recounts some of the most poignant memories of Diallo’s life as she devotes her life to serving others through the Peace Corps, International Rescue Committee and Africare.
With Diallo as their guide, readers venture all over Africa as Diallo shares her moving stories of faith and hope along with brief histories on the countries she serves in and visits. Her writings offer a rare glimpse at life in poverty-stricken areas of Guinea, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Ivory Coast.
When faced with danger, Diallo always listened to her inner voice, which saved her from many dangerous situations. With her book, she hopes readers will be inspired to seek a closer, more personal relationship with God.
“Seeing with my own eyes how people in Africa suffer completely changed my view on how I should lead my life, and the way that I should raise my children,” Diallo writes. “I hope that readers will be inspired to go after their dreams no matter what.”
