New Responsive VERSATEX Trimboard Website Makes Information Easier to Find
Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) August 26, 2014 -- Residential contractors, building-materials dealers or architects who visit the redesigned http://versatex.com website will find problem-solving information that’s as easy to use and functional as VERSATEX® Trimboard’s cellular PVC products.
The new site’s home page features three “front doors”—one each for builders, contractors, and architects—that give users one-click access to decision-making information tailored for their professions.
The VERSATEX team objectively evaluated the old site using web analytics and designed a more interactive, easier-to-navigate experience. “With our customers in mind, we constantly test and refine everything we make,” he says. “So it made sense, early this year, to take a close look at one of our main customer connections—our website," says Rick Kapres, VERSATEX's vice president of sales.
If a customer needs a quick refresher on installation, they can now click directly to the how-to video library right from the home page. The new design focuses on features, for which there’s well-documented demand, such as building-information modeling files for architects, technical data for dealers, and simplified ordering for contractors.
Also within easier reach are registration forms for an authorized AIA continuing education course, a plant tour, and the VERSATEX Contractor College.
VERSATEX found that over 40% of its visitors were using a mobile application to view the site. The updated site is now fully responsive, immediately adapting to all devices: desktops laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Mr. Kapres said, “You can download our Contractor Handbook and other instructional information instantly no matter where you are or what you are using.”
VERSATEX exterior trim products are manufactured by Wolfpac Technologies of Pittsburgh, Pa., where state-of-the-art facilities produce cellular PVC trimboards, sheet, bead board, moldings, and prefabricated corners; the innovative VERSATEX soffit system; and the dimensionally compatible VERSATEX Max brand nominal 2-by boards.
