New Season of PhotoVision Photography Courses Launching for 2016
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 11, 2016 -- Professional Photographers of America (PPA) has added a new series of PhotoVision episodes to its growing library of cinematic quality video tutorials at PhotoVisionVideo.com. The programs are served-up through monthly streaming subscriptions and are available to PPA member photographers at no additional cost as part of their membership. To celebrate the new season, non-members can take advantage of a discounted, limited time subscription rate of $9.99 per month or $99.99 per year (regularly $19.99 per month).
With over four dozen new videos premiering in 2016, photographers can learn about mixing light sources, marketing techniques, boudoir photography tips, senior and child portrait strategies and more. Each episode expands and strengthens the professional photography industry as a whole, aligning well with PPA's mission to do the same. “The thing that sets PhotoVision apart from almost any other online educational tool for photography is that you get to see the photographer doing what they do at their studio,” says Gary Hughes, M.Photog.Cr., CPP . “Not only do you get to see them shoot what they shoot with their equipment on their own turf but you get to see other photographers’ studios … you don’t get to see that anywhere else that I’ve seen.” Hughes is one of the pros featured in the new videos that also include Amy Doerring, John Pyle, Melanie Anderson, Cr.Photog., CPP, Jamie Hayes, M.Photog.Cr., CPP, ABI, API, Mary Fisk-Taylor, M.Photog.Cr., CPP, ABI, API, Jen Hillenga, M.Photog.Cr. and several more of the top photographers in their fields.
"PhotoVision gives photographers such a wealth of information," said Angela Kurkian, PPA’s Education Director. "It's real-world knowledge presented by photographers who've proven themselves and are running profitable businesses. It strengthens photographers and helps them grow in their profession. PhotoVision is an amazing resource and with the launch of a new season and these low rates, now is the perfect time to take advantage of it."
The new episodes broaden PPA's current education offerings, which include the new PPA Business Challenge and PPAedu. PhotoVision and PPAedu combined offer PPA photographers more than 1,100 videos to browse through and continue to learn from. PPA Members also have full access to the online community theLoop and to online courses covering everything from creative techniques and technical training to running a sustainable photography business. Through PPA's Degree and Certification programs, members can also earn their photography degrees and become Certified Professional Photographers (CPPs). The entire toolbox provided to members can be viewed at PPA.com/PPAedu.
