Nine23 to launch MMaaS for Durham Tees Valley Community Rehabilitation Company
(PRWEB UK) 22 October 2015 -- Nine23 has extensive experience in providing secure mobile management solutions through previous contracts in the Public Sector, including with the MOD and Police. Nine23’s Managed Mobility as a Service (MMaaS) will enable DTV CRC frontline users to work remotely and most importantly securely. The solution will deliver a mixed fleet of laptops and tablets secured to handle OFFICIAL data to CESG guidelines. Additional controls will allow the devices to be used for data at the SENSITIVE handling caveat.
The remotely managed devices will be part of an ecosystem that will enable frontline users to securely conduct office tasks, including connectivity to centrally held data, whilst away from the workplace. The first phase of the system will be delivered by the end of 2015, providing all standard office functions including email, web browsing, and document processing, up to and including OFFICIAL SENSITIVE.
The second phase of delivery will connect the end users’ devices to the Public Services Network (PSN) following DTV CRC accreditation from the Ministry of Justice. This will facilitate the use of software, data, and 3rd party applications from MOJ servers in support of their role.
Nine23, as managed mobility specialists, have been brought on board to assist in the integration of those suppliers that joined DTV CRC since March this year. Stuart McKean, CEO of Nine23, said:
“This is an exciting opportunity for Nine23 to provide DTV CRC with an OFFICIAL SENSITIVE ecosystem with remote access to PSN. We look forward to applying our FLX to this ongoing service, which will enable workers to carry out their day to day functions in a secure and effective manner.”
Durham Tees Valley Community Rehabilitation Company can look forward to an accreditable remote working solution that enables their front line workers to work efficiently at the OFFICIAL SENSITIVE security level.
