Oakland Zoo Hosts Appreciation Day of the Oakland Police Department
Oakland, CA (PRWEB) July 20, 2015 -- On Saturday, July 18, 2015, Oakland Zoo hosted an appreciation day to honor and celebrate the men and women of the Oakland Police Department. On this day Oakland officers and their families attended Oakland Zoo and were celebrated for their dedication and service to the community. “Oakland Zoo is thrilled to host an appreciation day for our police department,” said Nik Dehejia, Chief Financial Officer at Oakland Zoo. “Each day these men and women put their lives on the line to help make our community a safe place to live and thrive. This was a day for their families to be together, laugh, and enjoy animals at Oakland Zoo.” Oakland Zoo supports the efforts of OPD to make Oakland a safer city for all.
