Washington, DC (PRWEB) September 30, 2015 -- The "2015-16 State of the Future" is the 18th edition of a global assessment on humanities’ current situation, future prospects, and strategies. “This ‘World Report Card’ may have more data, information, intelligence, and wisdom about the future of the world than has ever been assembled into one report,” says Jerome Glenn, CEO of The Millennium Project and lead author of the report. “It should be kept on the desk as a reference for all those involved in global change.”
Four leading Washington futurists will introduce the 300-page report: Dennis Bushnell, Chief Scientist, NASA/Langley; David Rejeski, Woodrow Wilson Center’s Director of the Science and Technology Innovation Program; Clem Bezold, Chairman and Senior Futurist, Institute for Alternative Futures; and Jerome Glenn, CEO, The Millennium Project and lead author of the report.
The "2015-16 State of the Future" has a 14-page executive summary that is freely available in several languages; presents the State of the Future Index to the year 2025 with trends on 28 indicators of progress and regress; adds new insights into 15 Global Challenges; assesses impacts of artificial intelligence, synthetic biology, nanotechnology and other advanced technologies on employment over the next 35 years and how economic change is inevitable by 2050.
