OnlineParentingPrograms.com Takes Parenting Pledge Viral
Carson City, NV (PRWEB) August 27, 2013 -- With over 12.9 million single parent families in the United States alone, OnlineParentingPrograms.com has pledged to protect children, effective parenting strategies, and families-in-transition by posting an online Parenting Pledge on Facebook. The pledge is open to all persons who believe in the struggle to raise children successfully in an era of co-parented households. Their campaign asks participants to establish and share their faith in healthy co-parenting principles during an era of obvious and urgent family crisis, co-parented households, and court mandated parenting courses. By taking the pledge, parents are supporting families and co-parenting in their community and across the globe. Participants receive a printable certificate certifying they will support the concept of parenting and the wellbeing of children along with Rules for Co-Parenting, listing do's and don’ts for co-parents.
OnlineParentingPrograms.com in partnership with Family Education Resource Center and Extended Learning Center, reached out to over 3000 parents nationwide this week in an effort to bring awareness to the need to support parenting, co-parenting and family. They are urging other organizations to post the Parenting Pledge as a way to support families in their community and across the globe.
OnlineParentingPrograms.com is dedicated to educating families in transition, working with experts throughout the United States to provide clients with resources for educating and raising children between multiple homes. The organization has worked with over 600 family courts across the country, finding that nearly one third of parents taking court-mandated co-parenting programs are parents that have never been married.
“OnlineParentingPrograms.com has made a clear commitment to families in transition. We know that we have the power to make the change, and we now have a golden opportunity to provide a venue to work together and bring about awareness and accountability,” said Lori LaVigne, Director of Educational Outreach for OnlineParentingPrograms.com. "It is an honor and an obligation that we must face head on," said LaVigne. "We are excited to see the impact and change and look forward to developing other programs that will create awareness on a global level. Together we can help families fulfill their aspirations towards healthy relationships, marriages and strong family bonds."
