Orchard Place Announces Annual ‘Rise & Shine’ Campaign
Des Moines, IA (PRWEB) October 08, 2014 -- Orchard Place, mental health experts for Iowa’s children, announces its annual “Rise & Shine” campaign, a toiletry drive for the children served by Orchard Place is now underway. Each year, Orchard Place spends about $50,000 on products for the children in our care at our residential campus.
Items that meet basic needs include: toothpaste, deodorant, Q-tips, Germ-X, shampoos, soap, hair products and general bathroom supplies. Individuals, business, church and civic groups are welcome to participate in the “Rise & Shine” campaign at any time during the coming months.
“Our Rise and Shine Campaign is essential to help our residents feel at home,” said Vice President of Development Nancy Bobo. “The children we serve often do not have even the basic toiletry items. This is an easy way for people in our community to have an immediate impact on the thousands of children we serve.”
Items may be dropped off at any of the Orchard Place locations in Des Moines:
•Orchard Place Campus
925 S.W. Porter Avenue
•Orchard Place Child Guidance Center

•Orchard Place PACE Juvenile Center
