Pahrump, NV (PRWEB) August 14, 2016 -- Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the arrival of autumn with their annual Fall Festival September 22-25 at Petrack Park located at 150 NV-160, Pahrump, NV 89060. They are also honored to host the appearance of The Moving Wall Vietnam Memorial on the same days but located at Simkins Park, 1350 E Simkins Rd, Pahrump, NV 89060.
“The Chamber would like to invite the people of Pahrump and the surrounding area to participate in our annual Fall Festival. There will be fun for the whole family with over 200 vendors involved and rides galore. On a more serious note, we are also proud to present The Moving Wall, the Vietnam Memorial Tribute to honor those veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country,” says Chris Erwin, Pahrump Valley Chamber of Commerce CEO.
The Fall Festival will offer over 25 bands and entertainers, a carnival with over 20 rides, a rodeo on Friday and Saturday night at 6 p.m., and a 3 day - 80+ Classic Car Show. There will also be dirt track racing at Pahrump Valley Speedway (300 N. Panorama Rd) on Friday and Saturday at 7:00 p.m.
The Festival will be open Thursday (9/22) from 5 – 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday (9/23-24) from 11 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday (9/25) from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Moving Wall will be located at Simkins Park, and will be open to the public for 72 hours straight starting at 2 p.m. September 22 with a dedication service, and a closing ceremony on September 25 at 12 p.m. Individual Presentations will also take place at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday. There will be a shuttle available between Petrack Park and Simkins Park on a regular basis throughout the weekend.
