The organization’s mission is to start a national conversation about the disease of chemical dependency, delete stereotypes and create a comfortable and supportive environment for struggling and recovering addicts. Mackenzie Phillips, Treatment and Recovery Advocate at Pasadena Recovery Center, will be introducing Robert, and following the talk, there will be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions.
"We are honored to have Robert as our featured guest for this month's speaker series. We hope his discussion will help inspire many to view addiction in a new light. Robert's incredible story can teach us how one can take grief and helplessness caused by this disease and change it into awareness, compassion and support,” said Phillips.
