Peaks Lounge features ‘60’s Era Cocktails for just $5.
Denver, CO (PRWEB) May 08, 2015 -- The mixologists at Hyatt Regency Denver at Colorado Convention Center’s Peaks Lounge are crying in their cocktails over the conclusion of the Mad Men television series. To prove it, Classic Cocktails are just $5 in Peaks Lounge on the evenings of May 15th and May 16th, leading up to the Mad Men finale on May 17th.
Guests visiting Peaks Lounge on those two evenings may select from five classic cocktails and enjoy them for just $5 each. The list of cocktails offered for this very special price includes:
- Old Fashion
- Vodka Gimlet
- Dry Martini
- Bloody Mary
- French 75
“Not since the 1960’s have we seen these favorites priced so low,” commented Don Choudhury, director of food and beverage. “The staff did their homework and took a trip back in time to compile the list of what were the most popular of the era, complete with their original recipes.”

This selection of vintage cocktails is complemented by an extensive collection of wines by the glass, appetizers, desserts and an array of micro brews and drinks.
Located on the 27th floor of the Hyatt Regency Denver, Peaks Lounge is noted for its views of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, with the cityscape in the foreground. Its comfortable décor is encased with three walls of large windows and every seat in the house provides a scenic overlook. Peaks Lounge is open nightly from 4:00PM – midnight on Sunday through Thursday and from 3:00PM -2:00AM on Friday and Saturday.
