Pevco Link™ Web Application 2.0 Released
Baltimore, MD (PRWEB) January 14, 2014 -- Pevco, a U.S. manufacturer focused exclusively on pneumatic tube systems for hospitals, today announced the release of an improved web application for Pevco Link™, the company’s user control technology with barcode tracking.
Pevco Link’s database-driven web application displays data about all tube system transactions. It can be accessed from any Internet-enabled device. The new version allows users to search all Standard, Secure and Tracked tube system transactions. Its numerous pop-up search filters allow users to sort data by Sending Station, Destination Station, Sending Contents, Sending User and more. Users can filter by ranges of time when items were requested, sent, arrived and received.
Based on customer feedback, the new web application has an updated and easier-to-use interface. A show/hide column feature allows users to view only the data that is relevant to them. Data can be exported to Excel for reporting.
Pevco Link is an advanced control system comprised of a touchscreen computer, integrated barcode reader, database and web application for tube system stations. Its intuitive design and easy-to-read graphics make it easy to send pharmaceuticals, specimens and blood products with the touch of a button. Its optional barcode reader allows users to track the contents of any carrier sent through the system. Users know exactly what item was sent, when it left the station, when it arrived and who received it. This transaction data is accessible at the station and through the new web application.
Pevco Link can be retrofitted to existing Pevco and other leading manufacturers’ pneumatic tube systems one station at a time or as part of a complete system upgrade.
“While Pevco Link has always captured this data, it’s now easier for our hospital customers to manage and sort it,” said Steve Dahl, Pevco’s director of product development and marketing. “The ability to quickly and easily sort and export the results is so important. The end result is greater insight into every item delivered by the pneumatic tube system.”
