Pipe Bursting Manufacturer, TRIC Tools, acquires Apple Computer's Fadal CNC Mill
Alameda, CA (PRWEB) November 06, 2014 -- Alameda based Pipe Bursting equipment manufacturer, TRIC Tools, Inc., is proud to announce the addition of a state-of-the art CNC Milling Machine, previously owned by Apple Computers. “I love Apple Products and always have been impressed by their standards and innovation,” said CEO, Ward Carter. “To be able to use this 5 axis tool to manufacture our new technology to its full potential is truly exciting,” he continued. The 2008 Fadal 4020 Milling machine was in New condition. TRIC looked at a number of the 2008 era 4020’s on the internet and none of these came close to the condition of the Fadal available from Apple. The Fadal 4020 has a Lyndex-Nikken 5 axis rotary table that is able to work on a number of angles to produce complex hydraulic components. In addition, the Fadal unit has a full computer on board to host a number of programs at the operators’ fingertips.
TRIC’s machinists will be looking to add new water and gas pipe bursting accessories to their trenchless technology mix in 2015. Similar to Apple computer, TRIC Tools forged a niche market within its industry in 1996. Ever since its entry in the market TRIC has been the leader in the lateral pipe bursting technology. These tools have been essential for trenchless sewer replacement and plumbing contractors for the past 13 years.
TRIC invented and patented the first practical sewer lateral pipe bursting system while simultaneously gaining national approval of HDPE pipe for its use, thus opening market for trenchless home sewer replacement in America. TRIC has since added municipal cable-pulling systems to their arsenal, always employing their formula of modular portability, including pneumatic and steel-splitting heads designed to replace various pipe sizes and materials from 25mm to 300mm diameter.
