Jenison, MI (PRWEB) November 30, 2016 -- When the world leader in semi-conductor and memory chip technology needed an innovative glass option for their newest sustainable building, Suntuitive® Dynamic Glass from Pleotint was the choice. The structure located in Singapore was fabricated by Singapore Safety Glass (SSG) and has been recently honored with a Green Mark Platinum award- the highest accolade from the Building and Construction Authority.
For the team at Pleotint, this just continues the process of getting its products installed all around the globe.
“We’re thrilled that Micron used our innovative Suntuitive Dynamic Glass in their building. To be a part of a project that was so environmentally focused and awarded as such was an honor. In the end, we believe we have a lot in common with Micron in that we both take pride in supplying products that provide exceptional performance,” said Chad Simkins Vice President of Pleotint.
The Suntuitive dynamic glass on the façade reduced the cooling requirement needs for the building while allowing natural light in. The fact that that Suntuitive glass needs no electrical assistance in order to work was also a major factor in the choice.
Suntuitive Glass uses heat from direct sunlight to tint when necessary. As the sun moves across the sky, Suntuitive Glass will cool and return to clear. At night or in cloudy conditions, when direct sun is not present, Suntuitive Glass remains clear and allows as much daylighting as possible.
