Brooklyn, NY (PRWEB) July 24, 2013 -- From Darth Vader to Yoda, Comic-Con fans are celebrating one of the hottest releases of the Star Wars franchise. The films, under the direction of Parody Film Productions, is celebrating with the launch of its online parody series.
Now available on ParodyFilmProductions.com, the first of the Bad Wookiee short-film series reunites Chewbacca and Princess Leia together for a jam-packed episode full of big laughs.
The original Parody Film Production shows audiences a sneak peek into what beloved Star Wars character Chewbacca gets up to with all his spare time now that he’s finished saving the Universe.
“Episode II : Leia” is the first of four transformative parodies that introduce fans to a whole new side of Chewbacca living in modern-day Brooklyn, N.Y., with a blend of live-action and stop-motion animation, said writer/director Stephen Gill.
The brainchild of Gill, he and co-writer Russell Sinclair developed a slew of stories, picked four, and along with the help of more than a dozen avid Star Wars fans have brought the Web series to life over the course of several months.
For those already suffering from Post-Comic-Con withdrawals, this is a series you don’t want to miss.
