(PRWEB) September 26, 2016 -- WHAT: The Princeton Committee of UNCF will host its 16th annual scholarship luncheon to support local students’ efforts to successfully get to and through college. More than 125 guests are expected to attend the event, which benefits deserving students and hopes to raise $40,000 to aid in their financial need. This year’s honorees include Investors Bank; Avis Yates Rivers, CEO, Technology Concepts Group International, LLC; John Harmon, president and CEO, African American Chamber of Commerce New Jersey; Ken Armwood, Middlesex County Freeholder; and Taneshia Nash Laird, CEO, Legacy Business Advisors, LLC.
WHO: Established 16 years ago, the Princeton Committee of UNCF is an all-volunteer committee that raises scholarship funds for deserving, bright and talented young men and women from the Mercer, Somerset and Middlesex counties of New Jersey.
