Proff Paint Co. Ramps Up Aspen Presence
Aspen, CO (PRWEB) September 15, 2015 -- Aspen gripped Proff Paint Co. owner Buddy Reifsneider’s heart when he first played rugby in the late 1970s against The Gentlemen of Aspen, a rugby league formed in 1967. That affection for the City of Aspen in Pitkin County and surrounding communities of Basalt, Carbondale and Glenwood Springs prompted Reifsneider to move year-round to the mountain town that he describes as offering “a better quality of life” vs. anywhere else in the state.
Proff has had a presence in Aspen since 2000. Local projects by Proff Paint include The Peaks at Aspen Glen and The Snowmass Villas, among many others. The company paints exteriors of condominiums, for HOAs and private owners, plus other commercial projects and private residences.
“With the uptick in the economy a lot of projects are active in Aspen and the surrounding area,” said Bob Johnson, COO for Fleisher Real Estate. Fleisher manages 60+ properties in the area. “We’ve worked with Proff Paint for years. The Proff team makes us as property managers look good. They are committed to quality and Proff Paint gets the job done,” added Johnson.
A native Coloradan, Reifsneider grew up with one foot in Colorado’s Rockies and the other in the Front Range. Reifsneider’s parents operated Moon Valley Lodge in Keystone, CO for years until selling the business in 1953 when Reifsneider was a toddler. Reifsneider’s father operated Home Lumber in Littleton, CO for decades and it was there that Reifsneider learned the business of woods, finishes and construction from the ground up. He joined forces with Tomas Ramos of Littleton 15 years ago to form Proff Paint Co. specializing in condo and HOA painting statewide.
Proff’s VP of Sales, Jennifer Weber has lived in the valley since 1973 and worked for Proff Paint for 10+ years. A Realtor and property manager, she’s renovated dozens of properties from Montrose to Snowmass, including a unique, recently converted into a residence 100-year-old schoolhouse. Over the last decade, Weber has put her knowledge of climate change as well her expertise working with hundred-year-old finishes to work for Proff generating accurate bids—something customers rely on and respect.
“Three things differentiate Proff from other paint companies,” said Reifsneider. “We have an A+ rating by the Better Business Bureau, and our painters are full-time employees vs. day laborers, as well as being tradesmen capable of making construction repairs when needed,” he added.
Proff continues to operate in the Front Range and Central Mountains with Vice President Tomas Ramos overseeing operations in Denver, Vail, Winter Park and Summit County.
