Progrexion Generously Gives to Utah Cause
(PRWEB) March 20, 2014 -- Today, Progrexion, committed a $15,000 gift to the Big Brothers Big Sisters Program as part of Utah’s Love UT Give UT state-wide program.
Progrexion supports the nation’s largest credit repair firms. Progrexion’s desire is that every American be given the opportunity improve their financial lives. The company launched a community giving program in 2012 and has already contributed more than $130,000 to various charities.
“Progrexion and its employees are committed to both supporting consumers at the most difficult times in their lives, and improving the communities in which we live and work,” stated Jeff Johnson, CEO of Progrexion.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters is a program we’ve chosen to support this year. They have been impacting the lives of children for more than a century and we’re happy to be a part of such a great effort.”
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah provides one-on-one, professionally supported mentoring matches for children in Utah. "We could not impact the kids we serve without the support of fantastic community-minded companies like Progrexion,” said John Gold, Vice President of Corporate Partnerships.
Progrexion’s employees are raising funds and will be participating in the Big Brothers Big Sisters “Bowl for Kids Sake” event in April. “We want to give our employees an opportunity to raise money for the many programs this organization supports, and also provide them an opportunity to interact with the families for which we are raising funds, Johnson commented. Our employees will have an opportunity to bowl with the Big Brothers Big Sisters kids’ that have been on a mentor waiting list to find a mentor. Many of our employees have expressed interest in being able to engage in a service program in our community and this feels like a real opportunity to make a difference.”
