Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort to Expand
Los Cabos, Mexico (PRWEB) July 28, 2015 -- Ten years after its successful debut as the finest adults-only resort property in Los Cabos, Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Golf & Spa Resort will begin a new chapter on August 1 when it enters its second phase of development. The expansion of the deluxe oceanfront resort will feature new accommodations, amenities and services that will greatly enhance the guest experience at the stylish, open-air hotel, which is located five minutes from the world-class Quivira Golf Club and 10 minutes from downtown Cabo San Lucas.
Two new towers totaling 47 rooms will be added, including a magnificent Presidential Suite as well as six suites with private pools. These two Club Level buildings, named Quivira Club, will feature enhanced room amenities and first-class personalized service. Each floor will be staffed with a butler to attend to any and all guest needs.
As part of Pacifica’s expansion, a third building will showcase a new restaurant on the first floor, an oceanfront gym on the second floor, and a VIP lounge on the third floor. The VIP lounge will be available exclusively to Quivira Club guests.
The new restaurant, featuring indoor and outdoor oceanfront dining, will serve eclectic Mexican-Mediterranean fusion cuisine. The gym will offer breathtaking ocean views as well as state-of-the-art exercise equipment. The VIP lounge, accessible via a sky bridge from the Quivira Club buildings, will serve light breakfast, afternoon snacks, and pre- and after-dinner cocktails, all in a dramatic oceanfront setting.
The expected completion date of the new towers and amenities is October, 2016. During the expansion period, the latest technology will be utilized to control dust and noise. Current Pacifica services and amenities, including pools, spa, restaurants and bars, will not be impacted during the expansion.
“We are confident that these additions will elevate the Pacifica guest experience to new heights,” said Enrique Gandara, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “We look forward to its completion and to welcoming both new and repeat guests to experience them first-hand.”

About Quivira Golf Club
Commanding a dramatic site at the tip of the Baja Peninsula, Quivira Golf Club, routed along windswept dunes, sheer cliffs and desert foothills, is a Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course unlike any other in Latin America. With views of the Pacific from all 18 holes, Quivira offers more oceanfront exposure than any other course in Los Cabos. The well-strategized layout, with five tee placements ranging from 7,139 to 4,763 yards (par 72), starts at sea level near the rolling surf, scales cliffs 275 feet above the ocean, spans canyons and arroyos, meanders through dunes and desert, and returns to the beach at the finish. “This property afforded us a rare opportunity because of its topographic diversity and natural environment,” Nicklaus said. “Our team worked with the canvas Mother Nature provided to create one of the most spectacular courses in the world.” Completing the experience at Quivira Golf Club is a stylish, thatched-roof clubhouse situated between the first tee and 18th green and an oceanfront practice facility with a double-ended driving range and a dedicated short game practice area.
