Lonesome Pine Raceway and Kingsport Speedway (also known as “The Concrete Jungle”) have partnered together for three seasons in a row. Lonesome Pine Raceway opened in the summer 1972; it is a 0.375-mile banked oval in Coeburn, VA and is currently part of NASCAR’s Whelen All-American Series (NWAAS). Kingsport Speedway was opened in 1965 as a small dirt track for local races. It was later paved over and is now a 0.375-mile concrete oval, also sanctioned by NWAAS.
