For more than 22 years, Bull-DiLullo served as a FBI Special Agent, conducting successful investigations in the areas of financial fraud, kidnapping, political corruption, violent crime, terrorism, foreign counterintelligence, and the sexual exploitation of children. During her FBI career, Bull-DiLullo also served as the Connecticut FBI media coordinator, where she handled all public relations and media inquiries for both routine investigations and crisis situations. She was the Connecticut FBI congressional liaison, and assisted in the planning and execution of several full-scale crisis training exercises with other federal agencies in New England.
After retiring from the FBI, Bull-DiLullo held the position of Adjunct Professor at the Quinnipiac University School of Communications, where she designed and taught two senior seminars based upon her field experience and research into the area of crisis communication.
Bull-DiLullo also gained experience in municipal government by serving sequentially as an aide to mayors in the Connecticut cities of Milford and Stratford. There, she handled routine and crisis communications and personnel inquiries, and managed a number of special projects, including the coordination of a 2013 School Security Task Force, which examined school safety issues and audited existing policies and programs.
