Richard Violette publishes devotionals, narrative to inspire faith
EPPING, N.H. (PRWEB) October 16, 2014 -- What began as a journal containing original prayers and devotionals written by Richard Violette became his new book, “Faith Testified” (published by WestBow Press).
The goal of Violette’s new book is to show readers that people can relate to one another through direct, shared experiences. “Faith Testified” is the story of how the author’s life changed in his walk with God.
“Many of us out there are in a personal walk with God,” Violette says. “There are also many others that are ‘flirting’ with the idea. This book has the potential to bring an individual closer to God by relating to someone else’s experiences, such as my own.”
Through a mix of daily devotionals and narratives written by Violette, readers will explore the many ways in which their lives intersect with others’ and find inspiration and consolation in those shared experiences.
An excerpt from “Faith Testified”:
“Too often, the phrase false hope is used. What we fail to realize is hope is an absolute. It is okay to hope, as it is never in vain. Never give up hope. To give up hope is to give up faith. To give up faith is to no longer believe. Remember perseverance. Remember to stay faithful, stay true. He is here and always will be.”
