Ronald J Van Wynsberg Pens Terrifying Supernatural Thriller
WEXFORD, Pa. (PRWEB) July 25, 2013 -- Many people, even police officers, move from the big city to a small town because they want a simpler life. The protagonist in Ronald J. Van Wynsberg’s “Bunnyman Bridge: A Novel” (published by Trafford Publishing), Sheriff Joan Fortune, is one such woman, but unfortunately her relocation to Milford, Va., didn’t offer the quiet she sought.
When a young teen goes missing, the entire town embraces their young as they realize there is something lurking in the woods that surround the small tourist town, watching, waiting.
An excerpt from “Bunnyman Bridge”:
“Kiersten woke up groggy and disoriented. Her head throbbed. Her blonde hair was matted with blood. Every muscle in her body felt as if someone had pummeled her. Although she was unable to see anything but the blackness that enveloped her, she felt something lurking, waiting in the darkness. She could not come up with a single reason why or who would have brought her to this cold dank place.”
The entire town is working together to try and find Kiersten as more children go missing. Both Sheriff Fortune and her deputies lead searches, while townsfolk report strange occurrences. A woman is found unconscious in her barn with a shotgun that had been recently fired lying at her side. Animals are found killed in gruesome manners. And as reports begin to filter in, more terrifying clues begin to take shape.
As even more children are taken, Sheriff Fortune is forced to use more and more unusual tactics. But will they be enough?
