San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 20, 2014 -- With new updates to lighting and sound, as well as a rebirth of exclusive events, Slide is ready to offer an underground DJ experience unlike any other.
“We’re moving to a culture of promoting up-and-coming talent, while also providing exclusive events that will remind many EDM enthusiasts of the days of the ‘secret password’ and those epic evenings that would follow,” said Dylan Lewman, venue talent buyer. “We envision a highly engaged audience that we can invite with short notice to a ‘meet the artist’ CD release party or similar type events that will be the talk of the town the next day.”
Lewman added, “With this re-launch, Slide has made a crash course to be a premiere underplay venue in San Francisco.”
Slide has integrated up and coming talent with regular visits from international headlining artists, allowing for a unique underplay, underground experience for attendees. No other club in town offers such exclusive events with such a high production value.
Slide features a new $50,000 supplemental addition to the custom EAW sound system, with a monster EAW monitor package. Now, Slide can provide music and entertainment the right way, with a quality that cannot be beaten. New additions to the club also include an intelligent lighting system complete with HOG controller, a high-def 8 MM LED wall and a custom DJ booth with LED screens.
Originally a speakeasy in the 1920’s prohibition era, Slide seeks to recreate the secrecy and sophistication that the location was once known for. The club features a real slide down which patrons slide into the club to indulge in the stylish hideaway.
Besides the 1920’s, Slide also gives a nod to the Art Deco era through its design elements. With vis a vis color, rectilinear/pyramid-shaped structures and a custom-designed back bar, Slide evokes the spirit of the era with its playful references.
Slide has seen a number of talented musical guests at the club, including Cobra Starship, David Guetta and Far East Movement. The club offers an eclectic variety of music encompassing everything from dance music to festival acts to the sounds of yesteryear. The basement-level speakeasy offers world class talent on a weekly basis.
Ruby Skye encourages those interested in good music, innovative entertainment and a sophisticated club experience to check out their sister club, Slide. With the new additions and changes, Slide is confident that every patron’s experience at the club will be unforgettable. To learn more, visit http://www.slidesf.com/.
