Sales Start For Prairie Court Townhomes in South Loop
CHICAGO (PRWEB) April 19, 2016 -- Chicago-based @properties and developers Sandz Development Co. and Golub announced the start of sales for Prairie Court, a new luxury townhome development in the South Loop. An on-site sales center is now open at 1800 S. Prairie Ave.
Located at the corner of Prairie Avenue and 18th Street, in the historic Prairie Avenue District, Prairie Court offers three- and four-bedroom residences with three-and-a-half to four-and-a-half baths, attached two-car garages and three levels of private outdoor space including a roof deck with skyline views. Pre-construction pricing ranges from $799,000 to $1.15 million for floor plans with 2,432 to 3,290 square feet. First deliveries are slated for early 2017.
Residences at Prairie Court offer contemporary upscale finishes including hardwood floors, Bosch stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, and Grohe and Kohler plumbing fixtures. The homes were designed by Chicago-based Sullivan, Goulette & Wilson Architects.
Homebuyers can take a 360-degree virtual tour on a computer or tablet to better visualize the floor plans and finishes.
“Prairie Court gives homeowners access to one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods,” said Prairie Court developer, Richard Zisook, president of Sandz Development Co., Inc. “With South Loop Elementary School, the lakefront, and dozens of restaurants and attractions nearby, the location is appealing to a variety of buyers.”
“This part of the South Loop is unique because it features a mix of some of the city’s most historic homes as well as modern new construction,” added Lee Golub, principal and executive vice president of Golub. “It has a storied past, and with the new residential and commercial development happening all around, the neighborhood has undergone a major transformation over the last few years.”
“We’re seeing increased demand for larger luxury residences in the South Loop, and the townhomes at Prairie Court will fill that need,” said Michael Golden, co-founder of @properties. “In addition to the spacious floor plans, the homes also have features, like attached garages and multiple levels of outdoor space, which are at the top of the list for city homebuyers.”
The historic Prairie Avenue District was home to Chicago’s original titans of industry, including Marshall Field, George Pullman, Philip Armour and George Glessner, whose landmark 1880s mansion sits directly across the street from Prairie Court. Today the community offers homeowners access to the lakefront, highly-rated South Loop Elementary School, city parks, The Shops at Roosevelt Collection, restaurants and nightlife on South Michigan Avenue, the Museum Campus and the McCormick Place Events Center. The community is also within walking distance of the 18th Street Metra station and the CTA Red and Green lines.
The Prairie Court sales center is open from 12-5 pm daily, or by appointment. For more information, visit http://www.prairiecourt.com or call 312-982-1800.
