SelfLube Business Outlook for the Tooling Industry in 2014
Coopersville, MI (PRWEB) January 16, 2014 -- SelfLube, the leading U.S. manufacturer of mold and die components, is looking for 2014 to be a pretty good year for the tooling industry. Various signs point to this. In November, the company took an informal survey of business sentiment in the Industry at the FabTech show in Chicago, which indicated a strongly positive outlook for 2014. 70% of the respondents expected business activity to increase. The industry experienced a general up tick in the 4th quarter, which has extended into the New Year. Customers are generally saying they expect to be busy for at least the first half on 2014. All welcome news for an industry that has taken some body blows just a few years back.
SelfLube is in the process of gearing up to meet what it expects to be increased demand for its products throughout the year. This includes new capacity and beefed up inventory. "There will be a flurry of activity here in the next few months to make this happen," says SelfLube Owner, Phil Allor. "We like to stay ahead of the curve," adds Allor.
SelfLube is the leading U.S. manufacturer of mold and die components. Over the years it has built a solid reputation for quality and customer service. Located in Western Michigan it supplies mold and die shops throughout the U.S. and Canada.
