Semi-Trailer Braking System Developed (MIS-252)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 26, 2017 -- PITTSBURGH...An inventor from Savage, Minn., has developed the ABBEY SAFETY BRAKE, an automated wheel-chocking system for semi-trailers. This invention provides professional truck drivers with a simple and reliable means of chocking the wheels of a parked trailer when unloading, and without having to manually place traditional portable chocks.
"I invented this item in the interest of safety. While the law mandates that tire chocks be used when (un)loading trailers, accidents occur when drivers forget to do so. My invention will automate this process, thus making drivers safer and reducing risk," said the inventor. The ABBEY SAFETY BRAKE provides added safety by fully immobilizing the trailer. It eliminates human error while also meeting OSHA regulations. This braking system will spare truck drivers the time and hassle of manually applying and removing wheel chocks on parked semi-trailers when unloading.
