Warwick, RI (PRWEB) April 12, 2014 -- On April 12, local IT Pros, developers, solution architects and business users will descend on Kendall Square for the 7th Annual (SPS Boston) SharePoint Saturday Boston, a complimentary all-day event focused on Microsoft SharePoint’s benefits and capabilities. More than 30 different sessions at SPS Boston will offer attendees training as well as a space to connect with highly regarded SharePoint experts. The range of topics and real-world application of the sessions has drawn major attention to SPS Boston, and Atrion is proud to be a Diamond Sponsor. In addition to sponsoring the event, Atrion’s Senior Technical Director for SharePoint, and SharePoint MVP, Jason Himmelstein, will present “Intro to PowerShell for the Anxious ITPro.”
The newest member of Atrion’s SharePoint practice, D’arce Hess, a SharePoint UX Developer, will also be presenting at SPS Boston. Her session, “Responsive Design,” will provide an overview for branding in SharePoint. Both Hess and Himmelstein join more than 30 other SPS Boston presenters, all of whom are recognized for their expertise and for donating their time to the educational sessions. Attendees of SharePoint Saturday events get to sign-up for sessions that help advance their career or drive value back to their business.
“I travel around the world to present at SharePoint Saturday events, but there is something special about participating locally, at home in New England,” said Jason Himmelstein. “SharePoint Saturday’s are one of the most enjoyable ways to engage with the SharePoint community; and help people learn and grow their skillset,” Himmelstein said. While many of the sessions are geared towards a technical audience, there are numerous options for the end-user and business-user. Aside from the sessions delivered by Atrion’s SharePoint Practice representatives Himmelstein and Hess, additional sessions include “Power BI,” presented by Dave Feldman, an application development manager focused on business process; and “Making The Leap,” by Seb Matthews, which focuses on the decision points between cloud, on-premises, or hybrid environments for businesses.
The training of SPS events is vital to the growth of the community’s leadership, and Atrion is proud to sponsor and help promote the educational event to our clients, staff and the broader technical and business community. “SharePoint Saturdays are the true representation of what it means to ‘collaborate,’ where people of all skill levels can grow their knowledge, networks and friendships,” said D’arce Hess.
SPS Boston is open to the public; however, space is limited. For more information, visit our website. To register for the event, visit SPS Boston.
