Shunra Software Releases Shunra NV v8.7 OEM
Philadelphia (PRWEB) November 21, 2013 -- Shunra Software, the industry-recognized authority in network virtualization for software testing, today announced an update to its Shunra NV software. The v8.7 OEM release further expands Shunra NV as the leading network virtualization solution designed specifically for application testing.
Included in the v8.7 update is Linux support for CentOS, RedHat, Fedora and Ubuntu operating systems and kernels. v8.7 also provides new APIs and performance efficiencies. An updated multi-user API makes it easier for third-party integrators to build an interface between their product and Shunra NV that can take advantage of Shunra’s multi-user capabilities.
“Enterprises need to rethink their testing practices to ensure they are delivering high-performing applications that meet the needs and expectations of end users,” said Bill Varga, COO of Shunra. “Organizations need to ‘shift left’ and test earlier in the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This OEM update to Shunra NV helps organizations do just that with earlier SDLC integration through leading partner tools. With the capability to integrate with continuous deployment automation practices and solutions, testing can be performed earlier and with more accuracy and reliability. This means applications will get to market faster and with better quality.”
To fully leverage these continuous integration (CI) and continuous development (CD) opportunities, Shunra Professional Services has a practice that includes ready-made plug-ins to facilitate integration of Shunra NV into existing CI/CD environments. Additional service engagements can be used to create custom plug-ins.
