Simple Scalp Scratcher Invented by InventHelp Client (MEP-100)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) December 03, 2014 -- InventHelp announces that one of its clients, an inventor from Memphis, Tenn., has designed a device that would provide a convenient way for individuals with braids or finger waves to scratch their head.
The FAY'S BRAID SCRATCH COMB would prevent stylish braids or waves from becoming disheveled because of head scratching. It would eliminate the need to "pat" the head or use pens, pencils or other items to scratch the head. Wig wearers could also use the invention to reach below the base of a wig. The lightweight and compact FAY'S BRAID SCRATCH COMB could be easily stored in a purse or pocket.
Personal experience with her own hair inspired the inventor to develop this idea. "I braid my own hair, and when my scalp is itchy, I try not to scratch it, so I won't mess up my hair," she said. "But, this is frustrating, especially when the itch is severe."
The original design was submitted to the Memphis office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
