Soloist International Ballerina Caroline Duprot Joins Engel & Völkers Tampa
TAMPA, FL (PRWEB) April 13, 2017 -- Engel & Völkers is pleased to announce the addition of Caroline Duprot to its Tampa Bay Shop as a Real Estate advisor dedicated to serving the specialized, residential property needs within Tampa.
“Caroline makes a wonderful addition to our talented team,” stated Timo Khammash, Managing Partner of Engel & Völkers Florida. “Our real estate Advisors are very highly trained, dedicated to their professions and truly understand our clients’ special needs in the high-end real estate market. I am sure that Caroline will feel perfectly at home in our Tampa Shop and will push us to even greater success."
Duprot joins the prestigious company with an outstanding and unique professional history. Featured as a principal ballerina from 1996 through her retirement in 2011, she won silver medals at both the Concours de Grasse and Concours de Bordeaux and took 1st place at the Chausson d’Or de Paris and Concours de Carpeau. She danced for the English National Ballet, Royal Ballet of Covent Garden London, and the American Ballet Theatre. Caroline performed principal roles in ballet classics like Swan Lake, Giselle, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, and The Nutcracker. She was also cast in the Oscar nominated feature film, Black Swan.
"We are so proud to have Caroline join our team,” states Ray Alexander, Broker, Engel & Völkers Tampa. “Although recently onboard with us, it was clear to me and all of our Advisors that Caroline's experience, work ethic and accomplishments would carry over very well in real estate. It's impressive to see her determination and desire to escalate her way through the learning curve. Clearly, this validates the discipline she so capably demonstrated as a premier soloist ballet performer and retail account executive.”
Three strengths Duprot believes she carries over from her dance career, that translate well to real estate are: work ethic, professionalism, and flexibility. “Preparation for my professional ballet career started at 5 years old. I spent 6 to 7 days a week practicing for almost 30 years to hone my craft. I have a clear understanding of the work it takes to excel at something. I strive to bring that same dedication to improve my real estate career,” stated Duprot.
“Professionalism goes hand-in-hand with work ethic. As a former stage performer, I am uniquely aware of the consequences that arise if one isn't constantly professional. In the cutthroat world of professional ballet, if you are not at best, day in and day out, you will not be in that world for long. Consequently, I believe that every property and every customer deserves my absolute best effort.”
“Obviously, ballet dancers need to be extremely physically flexible, but we are also charged with performing different roles nightly. As dancers, have to prepare for many different parts of every ballet that we are in. This ability to adapt will help with the individuality that every client and property present. No two clients or properties are alike, and they all should be attended to and treated in the best manner that befits each one.”
With a long history of luxury property and yacht sales in Europe, Engel & Völkers entered the North America market dedicated to redefining the concept of real estate service. “Not every real estate agent is the best fit for our Shops,” explained Vicki Antonio, Sr. Regional VP of Brokerage Services and Brand Advancement, at Engel & Völkers Florida. “Engel & Völkers has high expectations of its real estate Advisors to participate in continuous training and to work toward a European definition of service that isn’t often found in real estate here in the United States. Caroline clearly can handle that challenge and will deliver outstanding results to her customers.”
“The qualities I most like about Engel & Völkers, that ultimately led to my choice to join the South Tampa firm, are its international/domestic footprint, its luxury connotation and the local brokerage support,” explained Duprot. “I love the international flavor that they have and feel just as comfortable dealing with international clientele as I do with locals. The luxury brand is also a draw for me. I was lucky to have some experience with luxurious settings in my time. One of my first experiences with the London ballet at age 17 was an opportunity to meet and dance for Princess Diana and the Queen of England. We had numerous performances at Prince Charles's residence and the experiences gave me some insight into a world that I had not yet experienced.”
