Space Saving Plant Supports Invented by InventHelp Client (OLC-116)
PITTSBURGH, PA (PRWEB) October 16, 2016 -- As food prices rise, home gardens increase in popularity. However, in many instances, the gardens are not large enough to produce a sufficient harvest. Fortunately, an inventor from Hobart, Okla., has found a way to use limited garden space efficiently.
She developed a prototype for the patent-pending HEBENSPERGER METHOD to allow gardeners to plant and harvest twice as many tomatoes in half the space. As such, it boosts the productivity of vegetable gardens. It does so by supporting the plants in a contained area, which also saves on water and fertilizer. At the same time, it keeps the fruit above ground to avoid rotting and affords easy access for picking. It is also convenient, effective and affordable. In addition, it is suitable for use with other vining vegetables, including peas, beans and cucumbers.
The inventor’s personal experience inspired the idea. “With a fairly small garden, we needed a way to restrict the space required by the tomato plants so we’d have room for other vegetables,” she said. “However, since we love tomatoes, we didn’t want to cut back on the amount of them we could harvest.”
The original design was submitted to the Oklahoma City office of InventHelp. It is currently available for licensing or sale to manufacturers or marketers.
