Special Program by Kimber Academy to Feature Glenn Beck and David Barton
Mesa, Arizona (PRWEB) September 25, 2013 -- On Friday, October 11, 2013, there will be a “Raising the Standard” event at the Comerica Theater in Phoenix, Arizona beginning with a pre-show starting at 5:00 PM. Speaking at this special engagement are radio/television talk show host Glenn Beck and author/minister David Barton.
The second part of this event will take place on Saturday October 12 at the Clearview Cultural Center in Mesa, Arizona starting at 9:00 AM. This two-day spectacular is sponsored by the Glenn J. Kimber Academy, a private K-12 faith based, multi denominational school located in Mesa, Arizona. Other sponsors include the Talent Team Performing Arts and Clearview Cultural Center.
In celebration of God, family and country, this event will focus on raising the standard in seven specific areas to save our nation. According to local moms, Nancy Genys and Pam Stevenson, “It all starts with individuals making a commitment, and then in turn teaching those in their individual families correct principles. Through purposeful commitment, collectively we will make a difference. Our fundamental belief in God, and in the Constitution of the United States of America, will move mountains. We can improve our education system and raise children with outstanding moral character.”
In true Glenn Beck style, these local moms have gathered like-minded individuals together to take action…to begin a movement towards change…a real change that comes from within; not something that is mandated by the government. They believe that we all can do our part to make a difference, and they invite all to come to this event to get inspired, as the focus is placed on the "7 Distinct Standards" that will save the family and our nation and bring change where change is needed.
The Glenn J. Kimber Academy is a conservative, faith based private school that provides students with a moral and patriotic environment. Here they learn top academics and standards that will help guide them through their lives, and helping them to choose the right, when the choice is placed before them. They learn not only top academics, but also the standards and spirituality needed to maintain worthiness, dignity and honor throughout their education, and throughout their lives. This environment produces confident, lifelong learners.
The academy Talent Team also offers performing arts classes (both auditioned and non-auditioned) focusing on the arts, such as dance, acting, musical instruments and vocal skills training. There are also several other elective courses available, including sewing, karate, gardening, cooking, Spanish, business, leadership and many more.
